All the core processes of the Kufner group companies are controlled with the solution Movex M3. The main priority of considerations was the need to unify the different solutions of the whole Kufner group to one central system, mainly for optimising the worldwide demand planning.
33 subsidiary companies in more than 70 countries are available on site venturous for the customers of Kufner products. That way delivery from the local stock is garanteed. But not only are the products are available everywhere, but also the know how of Kufner.
Within the implementation the total solution was implemented both in the production manufacture in Germany, Austria and Slovakia as well as at the sales branches on all five continents. On the technical view all establishments have a central application and database system, which is installed at the head office in Munich.
Result of the implementation was a reduction of stocks with a concurrent increase of the volumetric efficiency and an improvement of the scheduling correctness, as well as a general reduction of the IT costs by the standardisation of the IT structure.
