Murau Brewery has with its 500-year history a long tradition in the manufacturing of beer. Murauer produces 30 million liters of beer and fills 30,000 bottles per hour and 180 barrels annually.
The quality of Murauer beer is a result from the interplay of continuous improvement and strict quality controls. The quality control in the own laboratory is constantly monitoring the quality of the brew house from the fermentation, storage, filtration and bottling up to the finished product. The beer of Murauer is sold to 70% in retail stores or dealers and 30% in catering. To offer their customers flexibility, Murau Brewery has its own fleet of some trailers and 35 trucks.
